Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected by F. R. Fosberg from 13 August to 14 September 1969 in California, Oregon, Washington, and Virginia. Collector numbers 51408-51646 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, with occasional notes on locality or physical descriptions of specimens (size, color, etc.) Also included are some longer narrative notes on vegetation in various localities. Localities include but are not limited to: Muir Woods, Lassen National Park, Mt. Shasta (California); Lava Butte, Mt. Hood (Oregon); Olympia, Kalaloch, Olympic National Park, Mt. Rainier National Park, Cascade Mts. (Washington); Fairfax County (Virginia).
