Abstract

Catalogue of birds compiled by Frank X. Holzner, San Diego, California, on the Mexican-United States International Boundary Commission, 2 November 1892 to 6 July 1894 (Mearns's numbers or Holzner's?). Includes sex, age, and measurements of bird specimens, collector numbers 1246 to 2921. Localities include but are note limited to San Pedro River (Cochise County, AZ), Santa Cruz River and Valley in Sonora, Garden Canyon, AZ, and Huachuca Mountains. According to the Smithsonian Institution Archives finding aid for this collection, specimens were collected in San Diego, California. Letter from Charles Gallagher to Holzner, March 27, 1894, is also included.
