Abstract

This field book contains notes from March to September 1894 on mammals, birds, plants, and reptiles and batrachians in Arizona. According the Smithsonian Institution Archives finding aid for this collection, it also includes notes on mammal and bird life of San Clemente, California. Notes were taken in Bloody Basin (Yavapai County), Gila City (currently Ligurta in Yuma County; deserted at the time of Mearns collecting) (1-5 March), the Colorado River (5 March to 7 April), "Adonde", "Naris Mountains", and "Pozo de Luis". No collector numbers are included.
