Abstract

The 7 photographs document geological and botanical observations of Bohumil Shimek while in Wyoming and Mexico. Photographs are undated and are grouped by number. They are individually numbered and include typed descriptions listing a combination of location, type of formation, and types of plants. Subject matter includes vistas of desert and vegetation (cereus, ocatillo, palo-verde). Locations include Sonora desert [Desierto de Altar], Llano, and Maytorena, Mexico.
