Abstract

This item contains three check lists (charts approximately 14" x 20") for birds sightings taken at various locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin from 8-24 July of an unknown year. The year is guessed to be between 1885 and 1905 because Mearns conducted research in this region during roughly this time period. Species are listed by row; dates and locations by column. Localities include but are not limited to Fort Snelling, Chatfield, and Houston in Minnesota, and West Salem and Camp Douglas in Wisconsin.
