Abstract

This field book contains several lists of birds and mammals Mearns saw or collected including the following: catalogue of birds seen and collected at Fort Snelling, Minnesota, 13 May to 6 June 1903, collector numbers 12731 to 12789; bird egg collection, 30 April to 3 June 1903; notes from Hope, Idaho, and Forest Grove, Oregon, collector numbers 12795 to 12870 (birds) 5598 to 5614 (mammals); nomenclature for names; and birds of Mindanao, Philippine Island, with names in "Maro" language, collector numbers 12977 to 12980.
