Abstract

Notes document Alexander Wetmores observations of birds in Georgia, 1921, when working for the U.S. Department Agriculture, Bureau of Biological Survey. They were made during a trip to testify for government prosecution of violators of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observation notes (November 11- 17, 1921) are for Athens, Georgia, and include bird lists (by common name), and list other individuals (some contact information). The folder also contains correspondence, diary, expense books, court rulings, and reference materials.
