Abstract

News clippings are from Alexander Wetmore's time in South America 1920-1921, when working for the U.S. Department Agriculture, Bureau of Biological Survey. He was investigating the distribution of life zones of North American migratory birds in southern South America. They include articles discussing his presence and work in the region, advertisements for ammunition, work of Cristóbal M. Hicken (Botanist) in Argentina; description of Dr. Otto Nordenskjöld's (Geologist) visit to Peru in 1921 (in English). Most articles are in Spanish.
