Abstract

This item contains sheets of notes on the birds observed in the Yellowstone National Park and vicinity, July 26-July 31, 1889 and April 19-December 16, 1902. Sheets list the name of a specimens under which dates and descriptions of various sightings are included. Some birds may have been collected; collector / specimen numbers 12610-12634 are included. Localities include but are not limited to Yellowstone River (section in Gardiner City, Montana), Gibbon River, Yellowstone Lake (Wisconsin?), Mammoth Hot Springs (Wyoming), and Eagle Creek (Park County, Montana).
