The specimen catalog and field notes document Charles R. Aschemeier's collecting April 3, 1917 - March 13, 1919; notes from a talk on "the gorilla at home"; correspondence from January 27, 1918 (with note about specimen 432 sent from the Congo; and 3-page report on methods used while collecting large and small mammals in the Congo.
