Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected by F. R. Fosberg from 20 June to 1 August 1965 in California, Hawaii, Wake Island, Guam, and Micronesia. Collector numbers 46190-46838 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, with occasional notes on locality or physical descriptions of specimens (size, color, etc.) Some longer narrative notes document vegetation in various localities. Localities include but are not limited to: Hayward (California); Honolulu (Hawaii); Tamuning, Fonte River, Agana, Ritidian Point, Mangilao, Cetti Bay, Talofofo Bay, Mt. Lamlam, Inarajan, Merizo (Guam); and Yap, Ulithi, Fais, Lamotrek (Micronesia). Also included throughout the volume are loose notes and a newspaper clipping from Guam Daily News.
