Abstract

The 8 photographs document geological and botanical observations of Bohumil Shimek while in New Mexico, c. 1903 - 1907. Photographs are undated and are grouped by number. They are numbered and include typed descriptions. Subject matter includes vegetation along springs, detail images of cacti, and terrain around an alkaline lake. Locations include Tula Rosa, Alamogordo, and White Sands, New Mexico.
