Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected by F. R. Fosberg from 1 August to 10 October 1962 in Florida, Virginia, Ohio, Oregon, California, and Maryland. Collector numbers 4297343244 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, with occasional notes on locality or physical descriptions of specimens (size, color, etc.) Some longer narrative notes document vegetation in various localities. Localities include but are not limited to: Garden Key, Bush Key, Key Largo (Florida); Shenandoah National Park, Williamsburg, Sleepy Hollow (Virginia); Toledo, Waldport, Hauser (Oregon); Santa Cruz (California); and Arnold (Maryland). Travel notes are also included for Minnesota, Illinois, Utah, and others. Also included is a typed itinerary for Coast Field Trip, Oregon coast and a photocopied map of British Columbia.
