Abstract

This notebook contains a list of bird specimens Mearns collected in Fort Verde, Arizona in 1884-1888. Specimens are not listed in numerical or chronological order. Collector numbers range from approximately 2655 to 6360. Collector number, name, (sometimes) page in journal (Arizona field notes from 1884-1888), date, and measurements are recorded. Arizona localities include but are not limited to Fort Verde, Mogollon Mountains (possibly referring to Mogollon Rim), Whipple Barracks, and Beaver Creek.
