Abstract

This notebook contains a list of birds Mearns saw in Arizona between 10 March and 16 April 1884. The list is organized by species name. Notes documents when and where the bird was seen, and also notes when and where that species was previously seen or shot by Mearns or his companions. Notes on abundance and distribution of that species are also included. Localities noted include "Johnstons Canyon", Whipple, Fort Verde, Ash Fork, Verde Valley, and Prescott. This volume contains 14 pages of notes.
