Abstract

This is 12 of 13 envelopes of 6 photographs documenting Bohumil Shimek's travel and work in the southeast United States, 1936. Photographs are numbered and some include descriptions on the reverse side. Subject matter include examples of reforestation in Louisiana; examples of observed vegetation; fields cleared of trees; residence near Lake Charles, Louisiana; and trees in wetlands.
