Abstract

This item consists of photocopied narrative notes and an original specimen list documenting coleoptera collected in western New York in June 1916 while Sherman was a guest of Mr. Harry H. Knight near Batavia, NY. The photocopied portion of this item describes the locations Sherman visits, the specimens he finds, and includes some comments about distribution and abundance. The specimen list includes localities and may also include some date or page number information. Localities include Indian Falls, Palisades, Letchworth Park, Conesus Lake, and the south shore of Lake Ontario.
