Abstract

This item contains notes from 1911 and 1914 trips to the Lake Superior region to collect coleoptera. Collector numbers 6276-6483 are included. Specific localities such as Mountain Lake, Pine Point, and Lake Minnetonka are included in the itinerary for the 17 June to 16 July 1914 trip. List of 1914 specimens without collector numbers is also included. This list includes quantities and sometimes sex of specimens. Another list with the following columns of information is also included: Family, no. of species, no. of specimens pinned, no. specimens cards, no. specimens alcohol, [column listing dollar amounts]. The list is accompanied by a letter to the Department of Economic Entomology at University of Wisconsin about coleoptera for sale.
