Abstract

This notebook documents Sherman's first trip to Washington, DC, where he visits the Department of Agriculture and other locations, and collecting in Peekskill, New York from 25 December 1888 to 12 March 1889. Notes record the entomological collections made in Washington, DC, and Peekskill, and daily activities. References to Mr. Schwarz, Mr. Ulke, and others who accompanied Sherman on the trip. These notes seem to be taken when Sherman was at school.
