Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 28 May - 4 December 1955 in Virginia, New Hampshire, and Michigan. Collector numbers 36377-36626 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, and occasional notes on locality. Also present are longer narrative notes on vegetation. Additional locations noted in field notes but not in specimen list include: Maine, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. A loose sheet map and information sheet for Mt. Blue State Park (Maine) is included between pages 114 and 115.
