Abstract

These field notes contain journal entries and specimen lists of birds and mammals (mostly no collector numbers) from 4-11 August 1887. A frequently listed species of bird is Columba faciata and a frequently listed species of mammal is Sciurus arizonensis. Collector numbers 5620-5636 (birds) and 200-202 (mammals) are included. Sex, age, and measurements are included for specimens; descriptions of mammals are detailed. Localities include Baker Butte and Natural Bridge on Pine Creek.
