Abstract

These field notes contain lists of birds and mammals seen and collected at Fort Verde, "Fern Springs" and Baker Butte in Arizona from 7 July to 5 August 1887. Sex, age, and measurements of each species is provided. Collector number for bird specimens include 5544-5587. Also includes "notes on a trip to the Mazatzal Mountains, Arizona, from camp at 'Fern Spring', AZ", August 4-August 11, 1887, which contains notes on birds and mammals seen.
