Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 5 February - 6 August 1954 in Japan, Virginia, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Collector numbers 35677-35991 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, and occasionally notes on locality. Also present are longer narrative notes on vegetation. Localities include O-Shima Island (Japan); Williamsburg, Alexandria, Shenandoah National Park (Virginia); Fontainebeau, Loiret, Liguueux (France); and several others.
