Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 29 December 1953 - 03 February 1954 in Guam. Collector numbers 35324-35676 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, and occasionally notes on locality. Also present are longer narrative notes on vegetation. Localities include Mt. Lamlam, Tamuning, Pago Bay, Sasa Valley, Tarague, Tumon, Anao, and several others. Inserted into the last pages of the field book is a typed list of observations of the landscape, topography, and vegetation of Guam.
