Abstract

This is 7 of 13 envelopes of 6 photographs documenting Bohumil Shimek's travel and work in the southeast United States, 1936. Photographs are numbered and some include descriptions on the reverse side. Subject matter includes trees; detail images of tree bark (oak, lichens on ilex opaca (American Holly, pine) near Lake Charles, Louisiana; and pecan trees.
