Abstract

This is 5 of 13 envelopes of 7 photographs documenting Bohumil Shimek's travel and work in the southeast United States, 1936. Photographs are numbered and some include descriptions on the reverse side. Subject matter includes "green oaks" at Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; examples of trees near West Lake, Louisiana; local sights; and banks of the Sabine River.
