An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of rock and animal specimens collected from 20 February - 13 August 1952 on the Marshall Islands. Also present is data from 1961. Collector numbers 1-1537 are included. Specimen list includes collector number, scientific name, jar or vial number, date, number of specimens, locality, and ecological data. Localities include Ujae Atoll, Ujelang Atoll, Jemo Island, Wake Atoll, Wotho Atoll, and several other atolls and islands in the Marshall Islands. Specimens include crabs, lizards, spiders, mites, moths, and others. Also included are lists of samples to be submitted for analysis, including bag number, chemical analysis, and mechanical analysis. An inserted memo pad includes notes on pumice, coral, and beach rocks. A loose request for analysis form for beach and reef rocks is inserted in the front of the field book listing collector numbers 300-323, dated 7 November 1961.
