Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 24 December 1951 to 27 January 1952 on the Marshall Islands. Collector numbers 33908 - 34141 are included. Narrative notes describing landscape and vegetation of some localities are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, and sometimes a physical description of the specimen noting measurements, color, and other information. Localities include Ailuk Atoll, Lae Atoll, Majuro Atoll, and Kwajalein Atoll, among others.
