Abstract

These field notes document Resser's collecting trip in Virginia from 4-10 August 1936 and from central Pennsylvania to the Adirondacks, New England, and Canada from 21 July to 13 November 1937. Resser studies various geological sites and collects fossils from the Dovician, Ordovician, upper Cambrian, and possibly other periods during this trip. Localities include but are not limited to Clovers Creek (tributary of the Frankstown Branch Juniata River) (PA), Williamsburg (PA), Beekmantown (NY), Brockville (Ontario), and Gaspe (CA).
