Abstract

These field notes document Resser's collecting trip to the Appalachians (including localities in Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia). It seems the notebook was used for multiple trips over several years; dates range from 20 July 1934 to 9 May 1941. Notes describe geology of localities visited and describe fossils found and collected. Localities include but are not limited to Cleveland (VA), Mountain City (TN), Valley Forge (TN), Rome (GA), Bull Run (TN), and Greendale (VA).
