Abstract

This diary contains daily entries regarding Resser's trip to Europe between 12 July and 12 September 1925 to study the geology and paleontology of localities in Europe. The majority of notes in this book pertain to details about travel, day to day activities, museum visits, and observations of city and pastoral life in Europe. Some notes, however, also discuss the collection or study of paleontological and geological specimens in the upper Caradoc period, Cambrian period, and perhaps other periods. Localities include but are not limited to River Onny (Shropshire Engalnd), Durness (Scotland), Tidaholm (Sweden), and Skryje (Czech Republic).
