Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 20 February to 21 October 1945 in Ecuador and the eastern United States. Collector numbers 23145 – 24224 are included. Occasionally, notes become long and narrative. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, and sometimes physical description of the specimen that includes its measurements, color, and other information. Ecuador localities include Santiago Zamora (now Morona-Santiago and Zomora Chinchipe), Loja, and Azuay. United States localities include multiple locations within Virginia, Connecticut, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
