Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 24 September 1944 to 19 February 1945 in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and the Eastern United States. Collector numbers 22137-23144 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, and sometimes detailed physical description of the specimen that includes its measurements, color, and other information. Some entries are diary-like. United States localities include Virginia. Colombia localities include but are not limited to Cundinarmarca, Boyaca, Tolima, and Caldas. Ecuador localities include but are not limited to Pichincha, Canar (Santo Tomas, Valley of Ventanillas), and Loja. Peru localities include (above Lima) and other locations. 203 pages of notes.
