Abstract

This unbound catalog of birds contains 767 pages divided among 13 folders. Each page represents the collections for a particular species. The list for each species includes a number (collector number?), sex and age of the specimen, location collected, date collected, museum collected for, and additional data. There is no discernible order to the catalog. Approximate year range for these collections is 1875-1891. Approximate range of collector numbers for these collections is 24 to 7564. Locations include Arizona, New York, Virginia, Labrador, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, New Mexico, and possibly other states. Common localities listed include Fort Verde (AZ), Peck's Lake (AZ), Fort Snelling (MN), Hudson River at Cornwall (NY), and Long Island (NY). Many other specific localities are also included.
