Abstract

This notebook includes tables of measurements (length, extent, wing, tail, bill, iris, legs and feet) for birds collected by Mearns in West Point, Highland Falls, and Hudson River in New York from 1873-1874. Sex, number, date, and location is also recorded. Also included is a catalog of osteological preparations made from 1875-1877. The list includes scientific name of the specimen, sex, age, collector number, date, and location. Localities are mostly in Long Island and the Hudson River in New York.
