Abstract

These two folders contain black and white photographs of birds, eggs, and nests mounted on 3x4 plates. Many of the photographs are labeled with the common name (sometimes with sex of specimen), locality, date, and a number which possibly refers to the photograph number or the collector number. Locations include but are not limited to Roaches Run Waterfowl Sanctuary (VA), Suitland (MD), Potomac River, near Wachapreague (VA), Smith Island (VA), Clearwater (FL), Glover Park (DC), Fort Belvoir (VA), Ragged Island group (Bahamas), Trinidad, and Cay Sal. Postcards and a list of birds is also included.
