Abstract

This field book contains a catalog of botanical specimens collected in Alaska from 26 May to 3 September 1892 and 3 May 1893 to 8 September 1894. The book is divided into two sections. The first section contains collector numbers 1-68 collected in 1892. This list provides brief descriptions of specimens including distribution and abundance information. Some specimens have a "see" notes to pages where the specimen is described in further detail. Localities include but are not limited to Yakutat Bay, Cape Phipps, and Disenchantment Bay. The second section includes a list with collector numbers 1-162, collected in 1893-1894. Localities include but are not limited to Tagish, Forty-mile Creek, and Yukon River.
