Abstract

This item contains a list of botanical specimens collected from 3 July to 20 September 1927 in Haiti. The list includes the following information: scientific name, physical description, surrounding environment, and distribution / abundance. Localities include Morne à Cabrits, Miragoâne, Grande Cayemite, Petite Rivière, and Grande Rivière. Notes on page 8 explain some specimens, key to notations, and the 13 sets the collectors numbers are divided into. Inserted note at the end of the book is marked page 45. The note is dated "Miragoane, Sept. 20, 1927" and mentions a new species of Tamarind discovered by Dr. Ekman. Other collectors in this book possibly include Valeur, Baker, and Weir.
