Abstract

This item contains correspondence, identification lists, and determination lists for botanical specimens Rock collected from 1928-1929 in China. Correspondence is related to Rock's specimens, is dated from 1940-1941 and 1980, and includes the following correspondents: William R. Maxon, E. D. Merril, A. C. Smith, Herbert L. Mason, Division of Plants, and E. H. Walker. The document "Identifications of Rock's specimens sent to University of California by E. H. Walker, U.S. Herbarium", numbers 3009-11552, is included. Also included is a determination list for Rock's specimens, numbered 16001-18530.
