Abstract

These field notes contain specimen lists of birds and eggs collected by E. Hart Merriam from around 1872-1878 that were send to R. P. Nicholls in England. Number ranges are as follows: 40s, 200s-1800s. The eggs were collected in New York, and notes about eggs include specific locality information, date collected, and the name of the species. Specimen list for birds contains sex, collector or personal number, and scientific name of the bird.
