Abstract

This journal contains notes on snails and birds observed and collected in the Florida Keys from 18 April to 1 May 1914. Notes on other specimen, for example sea slugs, are also included. Birds are often listed with notes on commonality or abundance, sex, and quantity. Bartsch visits several cerion colonies which he planted. Localities include but are not limited to Ragged Keys, Duck Key, Bird Key, and Fort Jefferson.
