Abstract

This journal contains notes on Bartsch's research in the Florida Keys from 4-23 May 1922. Notes are on birds seen or collected and snails from the genus cerion collected. Bartsch visits cerion colonies he planted. Following Bartsch's journal is a list of birds, one on each page, with the locations and dates they were seen or collected. Other notes are also included. Examples of birds noted include Terns, gulls, boobies, pelicans, herons, and swallows. Collector numbers for birds are 1-758a. Localities include but are not limited to Sand Key, Key West, Man Key, Garden Key, Loggerhead Key, and Fort Jefferson.
