Abstract

This field book contains a list of botanical specimens, mostly Bambusa (bamboo) and other grasses, which Edelman collected in Puerto Rico from 1984-1985. May contain overlapping or copied information from vol. 1 and 2. Also collecting were G. J. Breckon, G. Deitzer, and T. R. Soderstrom, and K. Brockman. The list includes latitude and longitude information, elevations, measurements, commonality, photos taken, colors, precise locations, and physical features. Also included are sketches annotated with measurements. Collector numbers DKE# 26-44 not listed in order are included. Localities include but are not limited to Maricao, Mayaguez, Las Mesas, and Las Ochentas. Localities are also referred to by USDA-TARS numbers (for example #13-26 on map of ‘La Jagua’ area). Sketches with annotations are included.
