Abstract

This field book contains duplicate information from Field notes from Puerto Rico, 1984-1985, vol. 1. This volume may also contain notes on specimens not included in volume 1. This volume contains a list of botanical specimens, mostly Bambusa (bamboo) and other grasses, which Edelman collected in Puerto Rico from 12 October 1984 to 20 February 1985. Also collecting were G. J. Breckon, G. Deitzer, and T. R. Soderstrom, and K. Brockman. The list includes latitude and longitude information, elevations, measurements, commonality, photos taken, colors, precise locations, and physical features. Collector numbers DKE# 1-10 or 11 are included. Localities include but are not limited to Toro Negro, Carribean National Forest Luquillo division, Jayuya, and Mayaguez. Localities are also referred to by USDA-TARS numbers, for example "#13 on map of La Jagua area".
