Abstract

This field book contains a list of botanical specimens, mostly Bambusa (bamboo) and other grasses, which Edelman collected in Puerto Rico from 28 August 1984 to 26 March 1985. Also collecting were G. J. Breckon, G. Deitzer, and T. R. Soderstrom, and K. Brockman. The list includes latitude and longitude information, elevations, measurements, commonality, photos taken, colors, precise locations, and physical features. Also included are sketches annotated with measurements. Collector numbers DKE#01-24 are included. Localities include but are not limited to Toro Negro, Carribean National Forest Luquillo division, Jayuya, and Mayaguez. Localities are also referred to by USDA-TARS numbers, for example "#13 on map of La Jagua area".
