Abstract

The black-and-white photographs were taken during the National Geographic Society Yale University Peruvian Expedition, 1915. Includes prints of Peru highlands, with subject matter of timberline campsites, peaks of Torontoy, participant on trail toward mountains, local residences, and Narciso and Tomas (two local inhabitants working for the expedition and mentioned in Heller's notes) packing supplies on mules. No negatives. Locations include Torontoy, Ocobamba Pass in Peru.
