Abstract

The 12 black-and-white photographs were taken during the National Geographic Society Yale University Peruvian Expedition, 1915. For negatives, see Folder 24. There are descriptions on the reserve side of images. Subject matter includes Peru highlands, individuals and tents of the timberline camp, vegetation and terrain in the the vicinity of the camp of Chospyoc, Anta valley from Huarocondo. Includes a paper list of photograph numbers and descriptions. Locations include Torontoy, Chospyoc, Huarocondo River, and Cuzco in Peru.
