Abstract

This is a collection of materials documenting Alexander Wetmore's collecting efforts in Wyoming in 1910 to gather data on economic status and geographical distribution of birds and mammals; Included is an expense book, a post card from Merritt Cary, 5 June 1910, and a large map of Wyoming with a marked route. The route runs along the Union Pacific Railroad line between Evanston and Cheyenne (southern Wyoming), the vicinity of Yellowstone National Park, and Big Horn Mountains (northern Wyoming).
