Abstract

This field book contains lists of freshwater mollusca specimens found and collected by Stelfox in Great Britain and Ireland, and possibly notes from Normandy and Norway, from 9 July 1909 to 11 June 1911. Specimen list includes notes on commonality and abundance, measurements, water temperatures, quantity, and other information. Localities include but are not limited to Marrick, Monaghan, Killadangan Marsh, Belmallet, Tory Island, and Dingle Pennisula. This item also include is a hand drawn map. Notes about the Dingle Peninsula Survey (taken by AWS and R. Welch) and shells collected by Mr. J. N. Milne on Tory Island are also included. An index is included in the back of the journal.
