This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected by C. B. Doyle from 3 April to 25 May 1903 in Costa Rica. Collector numbers 1-745 are included. Localities include but are not limited to San Jose, Buena Vista, Juan Viñas, Port Limon, and Río Hondo. Entries include a brief description of the specimen, sometimes including measurements, if a photo was taken, and a brief description of the locality. Frequently collected specimens include species of coffee, fern, and palm.
